Tucked away in the heart of Old Cwmbran, The Mount Pleasant Inn is more than just a pub — it’s a place to eat well, drink happily, and feel right at home.
We’re Jack & Jasmine — the landlord and landlady — and together with our brilliant team, we’ve poured heart, soul (and a fair bit of gin) into making The Mount a proper community pub for everyone.
Here’s how the week looks:
Tuesdays to Thursdays – Our Main Menu is served from 5–8:30pm, packed with pub classics and home-cooked favourites.
Fridays & Saturdays – It’s all about our Basket Menu — think loaded, crispy, comfort food served 3-8pm
Sundays – The legend itself: our Sunday Roast, complete with towering Yorkies, proper gravy, and all the trimmings. Book early — it’s that popular.

It’s Basket Menu time — served 3pm to 8pm
